Building Pathways. Strengthening People, Families, and Communities.
BUILDING ACCESS. STRENGTHENING FAMILIES. CREATING PATHWAYS FORWARD.
Urban Access Living LLC was founded by two Black women who understood what it means to begin with limited resources, carry a large vision, and build from the ground up.
We are creating the kind of connected support system we believe individuals and families deserve, one that recognizes that housing, education, transportation, workforce opportunity, and community stability do not exist separately.
When someone lacks stable housing, reliable transportation, childcare, educational support, or access to meaningful employment, the effects can reach every part of that person’s life and household. Urban Access Living is building practical pathways that respond to those connections and help Villagers move from instability toward sustainable participation and independence.
Urban Access Living serves as the operational center of a growing ecosystem. Our work includes Villager intake and onboarding, readiness review, navigation, housing support, transportation infrastructure, workforce pathways, education and childcare support, and coordination across philanthropic and market opportunities.
We are developing this ecosystem in partnership with the Bailey McCullouch Foundation. Urban Access Living provides the operational structure, assets, services, and market-facing pathways, while the Foundation helps create philanthropic access and readiness support for individuals and families who are not yet positioned for sustainable market participation.
Our vision reaches across the full course of life. It includes early childcare and education, housing stability, workforce exposure and readiness, transportation access, community participation, and opportunities for older adults to move into mentorship and stewardship roles.
APP, Acquire • Preserve • Pass Forward, is one of the first active programs being developed within the Urban Access Living ecosystem. APP focuses on asset preservation, ownership education, intentional planning, and reducing reactive spending. It uses transportation as an early and practical place to teach stewardship, but APP does not define the whole of Urban Access Living.
We are starting small, using what we have, documenting what works, and building responsibly. Our goal is not to offer disconnected services. Our goal is to build pathways that work together so Villagers can establish stronger foundations, access meaningful opportunities, preserve what they build, and pass greater stability forward.
Urban Access Living is more than a collection of programs. It is a growing ecosystem where education, housing, transportation, workforce development, and care can operate together while preserving dignity, access, and continuity across generations.
